Day 29 1/31/20
Down 1 pound at this week’s weigh-in. At first I was dissapointed, but the reality is that this is going to be a long journey. I did not become out of shape overnight, so I obviously will not reach my health goals overnight!
One thing that impeded my progress this week was sugar. I bought a couple different “healthy” granola bars and “meal replacement” crackers for snacking on the go. At first I was so excited to have these yummy & delicious options!! After not eating very many processed foods or snacks my taste buds were jumping for joy! I should have known that it was too good to be true though. I can see it in the increased sugar intake I show now at the end of the week, and the slow down in progress. Lesson learned! Going forward I will stick to pre-packing my own snacks like carrots, grapes, pretzels or almonds!
